The primary goal of the Teenies series is to help young readers with their first readings on their own. The four volumes represent four different reading levels. Volume 1 consists of short and simple sentences and lots of illustrations, while Volume 4 is an easy-to-read adventure book.

Each volume contains exciting and humorous stories of the same protagonists, the Teenies.

Teenies are teeny-weeny forest dwellers, who enjoy visiting interesting places. While reading about their adventures, young readers are introduced to interesting places and jobs in the world.

An activity book, a card game and a board game are also available with the Teenies.
